CeeBee: Three Radio Communities, One Shared Spirit
Discover the web radios, native app and hardware bridge taking shape around CeeBee.
CeeBee has grown into a family of radio projects built around a familiar idea: choose a channel, listen for a pause and take your turn to speak. The web radios bring that experience to Dutch, English and German communities, while related applications explore mobile operation and connections to physical radio equipment.
The three web entry points are ceebee-bakkie.nl, ceebee-box.com and ceebee-kiste.de. Their shared identity combines the CeeBee antenna symbol, a dark blue interface, cyan highlights and yellow lettering. The radio experience includes 40 channels, push-to-talk and personal station features. These are internet voice channels; choosing one does not transmit on a corresponding physical CB frequency.
The project now also includes a native Android application and a separate C++/Qt hardware bridge. They serve different purposes: the app puts the radio on a phone, while the bridge is designed to connect selected radio hardware to the network. Hardware support and distribution readiness need to be assessed separately from whether software builds successfully.
CeeBee.live brings news, learning material, help and development information together in English. Its editorial system already supports articles, page introductions, roadmap entries and article cover images. Other parts of the site are still being developed. We will describe what has been built and tested without turning development work into promises of availability.
